Mitsubishi L200 Tuning 2006–2015 — Page 34

For the 4th generation Mitsubishi L200 (2006–2015; Triton in some markets), DD Tuning offers the Dakar off-road kit: separate front bumpers for 2006–2010 and 2010–2015, reinforced rear bumpers, heavy-duty side steps and roll bars; plus stainless steel bull bars and front guards, bed bars, canopies, side steps, roof crossbars and roof baskets, wind deflectors, a hood deflector, hood scoops/covers, fog lights, and model-specific floor mats for European, Arab, and right-hand-drive versions.

What to choose by model year

Over the L200 IV production years, the front end was updated, so some parts come in two versions. For transition-year vehicles, compare the front end and bumper with the product photos.

L200 2015 and newer is a different generation; parts are not interchangeable between generations. See separate pages for L200 2015–2024 and L200 1996–2006.

Off-road kit and pickup body

• Heavy-duty bumpers Dakar in steel mount to factory points; the front bumper includes an underbody/engine guard. A separate tow bar is available for the Dakar rear bumper.
• Heavy-duty side steps Dakar V1 and V2 in steel – with or without LED lighting.
• Bed bars: Dakar roll bars (with LED, with basket, Bed Rack) and stainless or black bed rails in 60 and 76 mm diameter.
• Canopies: a fiberglass one for 2012–2015 and the Omcap metal canopy, both designed for factory mounting points. There is also a pull-out drawer and a ladder for the bed.

You can install the off-road kit at DD Tuning’s network of certified service centers – the manager will point you to the nearest one.

Bull bars, guards, and side steps

Bull bars CAN in stainless steel – WT003, WT004, WT018, QT006, and QT007, each also available in the Black finish; front guards ST008, ST014, ST015, and Texas 76 mm. Rear guards – AK002, AK003, and AK007. Side steps – Erkul aluminum steps (Allmond, Fullmond, Bosphorus, Shining, Mevsim, Duru, Line, Maydos, Tayga), BlackLine and Amazon by Omsa Line, plus Premium steps and 60 mm stainless steel side bars.

Roof, windows, and hood

Available options include roof rails with crossbars (grey or black), crossbars for standard roof rails with a lock or without, crossbars for a smooth roof, and roof baskets Dakar 100×120 and 120×140 cm. For windows – wind deflectors HIC and Sunplex Sport for 4 windows; for the hood – hood deflector EuroCap or HIC and hood covers V1–V4 made of ABS plastic. Also available: windshield visors, including LED versions, and fender flares.

Floor mats for your interior version

The L200 IV came with different interior layouts, so the floor mats are made in several versions: Stingray Premium rubber mats “Europe” and “Arab”, Stingray 3D for European, Arab, and right-hand-drive versions, plus Polytep, Carsuit, model-specific EVA mats in five colors, and textile mats. Templates and mounting points differ between versions, so choose mats for your exact interior. Dashboard trim kits come in 8-, 11-, and 13-piece sets – compare with photos of your dashboard, because cutouts differ for manual vs automatic.
