UAZ Tuning

For UAZ, DD Tuning has put together universal accessories selected by the vehicle’s dimensions, and there is a separate model page for UAZ 3151 1985–2003 — this is how the modernized UAZ-469 has been designated since 1985. Most often, UAZ owners choose roof baskets and roof racks, expedition boxes, aluminum side steps, rubber floor mats, mud flaps, door-sill scuff plates, sound insulation, and interior accessories.

Will these products fit a Patriot, Hunter, or the “Bukhanka”?

There are no separate pages on the site for Patriot, Hunter, “Bukhanka” (UAZ 452), or the 3303 flatbed, so the same universal products are selected for these models. The principle is simple: first measure the installation area on your vehicle — the roof length and width, the distance between the wheel arches, the size of the side repeater/marker, or the floor area — and then compare those measurements with the specs in the product card. It’s also worth knowing the model year and body type (with a metal roof, with a soft top/canvas, flatbed) in advance: they determine what will actually fit.

What’s available for UAZ and what to measure before ordering

How to choose a roof rack, basket, or roof box for UAZ?

The Dakar 4x4 basket is mounted not directly on the roof but on a roof rack, so you need crossbars first. If there are no roof rails, choose a rack for a smooth roof — a pair of crossbars with a full mounting kit; the universal model is selected by matching the dimensions to your vehicle’s roof. For roofs with rails, there are crossbars in the roof racks & bars section, and if there are no rails yet — universal roof rails Skyport in lengths 122, 131, 152, and 165 cm. A LED light bar with mounts and a bracket for it are sold separately for the Dakar basket. Other travel gear is in the OffRoad accessories section.

Which steps, mats, and mud flaps will fit a UAZ?

The Erkul side step kit includes two aluminum steps without mounting hardware; the length is chosen in the product card. Mounting hardware and end caps are sold separately in the step accessories section; the same section also has plastic covers for tubes with 60 and 70 mm diameter. Rubber floor mats are bought as a set or individually if you only need to cover the driver’s area or the rear row; for the cargo area there are trunk mats, including Stingray polyurethane 900×1000 and 1000×1200 mm. To ensure the mat lies flat, compare its size with your floor before ordering.

What to get for the UAZ interior, lighting, and sound insulation?

The interior can be upgraded with universal armrests (including versions with USB and a cup holder), gear-shift boots, seat covers, and backrest organizers. Noise/vibration insulation includes separate materials for different purposes: vibration damping, sound insulation, thermal insulation, and anti-squeak; most are sold in sheets, for example 75×100 cm, and rollers are available for pressing them down. Car bulbs are selected by the base of the stock bulb — H1, H3, H4, H7 and other types; LED and xenon options are available. For appearance, there are door-sill plates on tape (Omsa Line: front 45×5 cm, rear 23×5 cm) and Carmos chrome grilles for the stock turn-signal repeaters — oval 94×50 mm and rectangular 115×50 mm. Accessories can be installed at DD Tuning’s network of certified service centers — your manager will tell you the nearest one.
