Renault Fluence is a sedan with a spacious interior and a fairly voluminous trunk, perfect for family motorists. The car itself is a continuation of the Megane line and carries most of the features of its predecessors, but the Fluence has become bigger and more solid. In addition, the Frenchman has a pleasant price compared to the closest competitors.

The car has a classic Renault appearance: smooth oval outlines, inflated wings, a narrow radiator grille and headlights stretched along the hood. Dimensions Fluence: 4620 mm in length and 2037 in width, and the car is difficult to classify in a specific class - C or D, it is something in between. The volume of the trunk is 530 liters.

Fluence is presented in four configurations, but there is no choice of power unit - only a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 106 "horses" is available. It is still not enough for such a sedan, it is felt on climbs and when accelerating on the track, which is also shown by the numbers: the Frenchman reaches 100 in almost 14 seconds.

The basic equipment (under the name Authentique) includes electric power steering, electric mirrors and front windows, height adjustment of the driver's seat and steering wheel, halogen headlights and a five-speed manual gearbox. The following - Comfort and Expression - already have the opportunity to choose between "mechanics" and a four-speed "automatic". There are already heated front seats, front side airbags, fog lights and many other joys for car owners.

The top-of-the-range Dynamique is equipped with an automatic transmission and significantly improves comfort. Here you will get dual-zone climate control, rear parking radar, cruise control, a lot of electronic stuff: a rain sensor, darkening of the rearview mirror at dusk, an improved audio system. There is also an adjustment of departure by steering and an ESP system. Optionally, you can get a leather interior.

A nice plus: all configurations going to the domestic market have an anti-gravel coating on the bottom, adaptation for starting the engine in the cold season and reinforced suspension.

Fuel consumption, according to the manufacturer, is 10.6 liters in the city cycle, and only 6 liters on the highway. In terms of handling and dynamics, the Fluence is very suitable for country trips on the highway at cruising speed, in city traffic jams the car behaves indifferently, due to the weak engine.

Summarizing, we can say that Renault Fluence is a typical "family" car, for lovers of quiet driving rather than speed.
