Frequently asked questions
What do the two numbers in a cap size mean, for example 65/56 mm?
One number is the outer diameter of the front part that is visible on the wheel, and the other is the mounting diameter of the part that fits into the center bore of the rim. The mounting diameter is always smaller.
How do I choose wheel caps?
Remove the old cap and measure the outer diameter along the edge and the mounting diameter at the clips with calipers; if there is no cap, measure the center bore in the rim. Choose a cap with the same mounting diameter, and if in doubt, check with the manager using your measurements.
Will the caps fit my car model, for example Audi A6 or Renault Captur?
Compatibility cannot be determined by car model alone: the same model may have rims with different center bore sizes. Measure the outer and mounting diameter of your cap or the bore and compare it with the size in the product name.
Are the caps sold as a set or individually?
Most often as a set of 4 pcs — one for each wheel; stickers for caps are also sold in sets of 4 pcs. Large caps for original Volkswagen LT, Mercedes Sprinter, and Ford rims are sold as 1 pc — the quantity is indicated in the product name.
Will a cap fit if the size differs by 1–2 mm?
No, even a few millimeters matter: a smaller cap will wobble in the bore, and a larger one will not fit. Wheel radius and bolt pattern do not determine the cap size — you need the outer and mounting diameters.
Can an emblem be stuck onto the cap?
Yes, stickers for caps are sold separately — they are decoration for an existing cap, not a replacement for it. Compare the sticker size with the outer diameter and check whether the front part of the cap is flat or convex.
