Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between parts for ML W166 and GLE W166?
ML was produced in 2011–2015, while GLE was produced in 2015–2018 in the same W166 body, but with different headlights, hood, fenders, grille, bumpers, and taillights. Therefore, grilles, bumpers, and AMG body kits, rear mud flaps, and the badge under the windshield are sold separately for “ML” and “GLE,” while side steps, floor mats, wind deflectors, and crossbars are shared.
How do I know that I have a W166, not a W164 or GLE W167?
W166 refers to the ML 2011–2015 and GLE 2015–2018. Cars from 2011–2012 are sometimes confused with the previous ML W164, while the GLE from 2018 is already the new W167; GLE Coupe is a separate C292 body. If you're unsure, send the manager a photo of the front of the car.
Can I install a grille or fender flares from GLE on ML?
No. Grilles for GLE are made for the front end of the GLE and do not fit ML, and GLE63 AMG fender flares are designed for GLE63 bumpers. ML has its own Diamond and GT Panamericana grilles, while the full GLE look is achieved with the ML to GLE AMG restyling kit.
What is included in the AMG body kits for W166?
The AMG ML63 kit for ML includes a front bumper, a rear bumper assembly, and front fenders. The GLE63 AMG kits for GLE include a front bumper, fender flares, and an AMG grille plus a rear diffuser or rear bumper, depending on the version. The parts are supplied unpainted.
Which mud flaps fit my W166?
Front mud flaps are selected depending on whether the car has side steps: there are different options for cars with side steps and without them (with AMG side skirts). Rear ones differ by bumper: for ML with an AMG bumper and for GLE with a body-color bumper.
How do I find out the shipping cost?
The exact price and shipping options are shown during checkout after you enter the address. Body kits and restyling kits are oversized and ship in several boxes, so their shipping cost depends on the address and the size of the shipment.
