BMW F30/F31 Tuning and Body Kits — Page 39

The BMW 3 Series F30/F31 (2012–2019) includes the F30 sedan and the F31 Touring wagon, and within this generation there is the pre-facelift and the 2015 facelift (LCI). This page brings together model-specific parts for these body styles: body kits, spoilers, grilles, lighting, mirrors, steering wheels, floor mats, and roof racks.

Some items fit both body styles, while others fit only the sedan or only the wagon. For such items, the title indicates SD or SW, or F30 or F31.

F30 body kits: first identify your bumper

The biggest category is body kits, and here the key factor is not the year but the bumper type: stock (Base), M-Sport, M-Performance, or an M3-style (F80) bumper. Front bumper lips are made for specific variants: DPT and EuroCap for M-Performance, BM and Mad-Style and MP-Style carbon lips for M-Sport, DPT V-1…V-4 for M3-look, and separate lips for the stock bumper before and after the facelift. A trim made for an M bumper will not fit a standard one, and vice versa. Customers often call the side pieces of the lip “fangs” — they are sometimes sold as a separate item.

Rear diffusers are also selected by bumper type and exhaust layout: for M-Sport there are versions for dual single and dual double exhaust, plus separate options for M-Performance and M3. Side skirt add-ons are also different for Base, M-Sport, M-Performance, and M3 skirts. If you are unsure, send the manager photos of the front and rear bumpers — on converted cars they can come from different trims. With a non-original bumper replica, allow time for test fitting and adjustment.

Spoilers, body kit sets, and the G20 facelift conversion

Trunk lid spoilers and rear window trims are made for the F30 sedan (also fit F80 M3): M3, M4, MP, PSM, X-Style, DPT Custom styles, in gloss black, paint-ready, carbon, or forged carbon. Customers also call the low lip spoiler a “saber.”

For a complete transformation, there are body kit sets: F80 M3 with front fenders (front and rear bumper, fenders, side skirts), F80 M3 without fenders, a version for fog lights, and the M-Performance kit (M-Performance front and rear bumper, diffuser for dual double exhaust, side skirts). Separately, there is the G20 2023 M-Tech facelift conversion kit. The kits mount to factory points; F80 M3 and the facelift kits are supplied paint-ready — before painting, parts should be test-fitted and panel gaps adjusted if needed. You can install a body kit at DD Tuning’s network of certified service centers — our manager will point you to the nearest one.

Grilles, mirrors, and lighting

Radiator grilles, or “kidneys,” are available in M-Look styles (matte black, gloss black, M-Color, German Color), Diamond Black and Diamond Silver (including versions with a chrome surround), and 1Bar. For 1Bar and grille overlays, the number of bars in the factory kidneys matters — 8 or 11, so count them before ordering. Mirror caps are available in real carbon, M-Look style, or Carmos stainless steel; all are self-adhesive.

In automotive lighting you will find G20-style front headlights in two versions: Halogen to LED for cars with factory halogen and Xenon to LED for cars with xenon, as well as G20-Style tail lights, fog lights, including LED. LED headlight modules are selected by the OE module number; left and right are sold separately.

Interior, mats, roof: sedan or wagon

For the interior we offer steering wheels in M-Style and carbon, including versions with LED, a gear knob and shift boot, and seat covers for the full interior. Floor mats include Stingray and Novline rubber, Stingray 3D polyurethane, EVA in five colors, and textile.

The body style is important for the rear: trunk mats, some wind deflectors, and rear bumper protectors are sold separately for the sedan (SD) and the F31 wagon (SW). For roofs with integrated rails, there are crossbars for rails; for a smooth roof, there are separate roof racks. Complete the look with wind deflectors and M badges and emblems.
