Frequently asked questions
How are rubber mats different from EVA and textile mats?
Rubber mats do not let water and dirt through to the original floor covering and are easy to wash with water. EVA mats are lighter and trap water and dirt in the cells, while textile mats look cozier but need to be cleaned and dried thoroughly.
Is it enough to know the make and year for the mats to fit?
No. Check the generation, body type, number of seats and rows, drive, transmission, and for some models, the version for the European or American market. These details are listed in the product name.
What do 1+1 and 1+2 mean in van mats?
This is the layout of the front seats: driver and single (1+1) or double (1+2) passenger seat. This is not the number of mats, and the sets are not interchangeable. See the number of pieces in the product name.
How are rubber mats fixed in the cabin?
It depends on the set: the specifications indicate installation in the original mounting points with factory retainers or fastening with clips or screws. If fasteners are missing, you can buy them separately in the section for car mat clips.
Should a rubber mat be placed over the original one?
No, a rubber mat is placed instead of the original textile mat. After installation, make sure the driver’s mat does not move and does not interfere with pedal travel.
Does the set include a trunk mat?
No, this section is for cabin mats. Trunk mats are selected separately in the section for rubber trunk mats.
