Frequently asked questions
Are eyelashes, eyelids, and little lashes for headlights the same thing?
Yes, these are different names for the same part — a decorative trim for the upper edge of the front headlight. Sometimes they are also called “eyebrows.”
Do eyelashes need to be painted?
Black and carbon eyelashes are installed without painting. Versions “for painting,” including Porsche-style for Trafic, Vivaro, and Primastar, are painted to match the body color before installation.
How are the eyelashes attached to the headlights?
It depends on the product: plastic ones are installed with glass sealant adhesive or double-sided tape, stainless steel trim is self-adhesive, and LED eyelashes fit into the factory mounting points. The installation method is indicated in the specifications.
Are eyelashes sold as a pair or individually?
Usually as a pair — left and right. For Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 150, there are also individual eyelashes for one side.
Do you need to drill the headlights or body?
No. Most eyelashes are glued to the headlight housing or body, while LED models are installed in the factory mounting points.
What is the difference between V1 and V2 eyelashes for BMW?
These are two different trim designs for the same model. Choose based on the photo on the product page; V2 for X5 F15 also fits X6 F16, but not X5M or X6M.
