Automotive Bulbs for Peugeot 207 2006–2014 — Page 5
In 2004, the French began developing a new generation of a «B»-class model. In spring 2006 the car was unveiled to the public, and by summer the first lucky owners took delivery of the Peugeot 207 hatchback. Peugeot 207 tuning is one of the most popular categories in our store, and the accessories and body kits featured here won’t just enhance the look of your car—they’ll also improve ergonomics and handling.
The story of the Peugeot 207 from DD Tuning
In March 2008, less than 2 years after production began, the Peugeot 207 celebrated its first milestone: sales topped 1,000,000 units. By sales pace, the model overtook the long-time European favorite—the Volkswagen Golf—becoming the best-selling hatchback in Europe.
Interestingly, the predecessor with the 206 badge was never taken off the production line: strong demand (over 5.5 million units sold to date) led to both models being produced in parallel.
The Peugeot 207 grew noticeably in size, with a significant increase in length and height. The design is based on components from the Citroen C3 platform. Still, the new «lion» didn’t move beyond the golf class: the rear seat remains most comfortable for two passengers—three will have to squeeze in.
French engineers paid a lot of attention to safety, and as a result the car performed brilliantly in EuroNCAP crash tests, earning a well-deserved five stars. The 207’s protective duties are handled by numerous electronic systems: ABS, ESP, traction control, an electronic stability sensor, and airbags—up to 6 in total. To improve aerodynamics, we recommend buying a Peugeot 207 tuning spoiler. It comes pre-primed and ready for paint, so installation takes minimal time.
European versions come with petrol and diesel engines, but due to low diesel fuel quality, our market typically sees only petrol 1.4 and 1.6 engines producing from 88 to 175 hp. The most powerful 175 hp turbo unit, developed in cooperation with BMW engineers, won the «Engine of the Year 2007» award (a similar engine is used by the Bavarians in the MINI Cooper S).
In 2007, three new «two-oh-seven» variants premiered: the Peugeot 207 SW estate, the Peugeot 207 CC coupe-convertible, and the sport-focused Peugeot 207 RC. The driver-oriented 207 RC, with a solid 240 Nm of torque, features 17-inch Bridgestone Potenza tires, advanced safety systems, and an elegant leather-trimmed interior.

Serious work was done to make communication between the car and driver more intuitive: the Peugeot 207 offers a speed limiter with fine adjustment, a tire pressure sensor, cruise control, and parking sensors. Innovative headlights can direct the beam where it’s needed when cornering. Interestingly, the headlights don’t physically turn with the steering wheel: the electronic system simply activates one of two additional lamps for each direction. The steering wheel can be adjusted in two directions, so drivers of any build can find a comfortable position. The seats are strong as well—good side support and wide adjustment options make them exceptionally comfortable. Cabin plastic quality improved significantly compared to the predecessor. We also recommend adding an armrest for Peugeot 207 interior tuning, or styling the dashboard with decorative instrument panel trims.
The Peugeot 207 cabin also offers an interesting feature: scenting the air with pleasant perfume aromas. A dedicated fragrance diffuser is provided for this purpose.
