Hood deflector mounting kit (5 pcs, EuroCap)

EuroCap hood deflector fasteners — a universal set of five fastening kits made of black ABS plastic. Installation type — clips or screws. This is a spare part for a hood deflector (“bug shield”), not the deflector itself and not a vehicle-specific part for a particular car.

What hood deflector fasteners are for

A hood deflector is installed without drilling and without gluing: it is secured to the edge of the hood with the included clamps or plastic clips. New fasteners are needed if the original ones are lost or broken, or if you need to replace them with new ones. Pads and plastic clamps reduce friction against the paint, while metal fasteners can leave marks on the coating. It’s impossible to completely rule out marks, so during installation make sure the clamp sits evenly and does not rub the clear coat.

What’s included in the EuroCap set

• manufacturer — EuroCap, Turkey;
• material — ABS plastic, color black;
• package contents — 5 fastening kits;
• product type — universal, installation location — front;
• installation type — clips or screws.

In the photo, the set shows five black clamps, five transparent pads, five screws with caps, and adhesive circles on a single strip. How many kits you need for your deflector depends on its design and the number of mounting points: check this against the instructions for the deflector itself.

Will these fasteners fit my deflector

The set is universal by product type, but fasteners are always selected for the specific shape of the deflector. Customers reported that EuroCap fasteners are high-quality, but not all of them fit a deflector from another manufacturer; on the other hand, another customer confirmed that the set fit a Toyota Land Cruiser 100. Therefore, before ordering, compare it with what mounts to your deflector: the clamp shape, the screw diameter, and the thickness of the hood edge. If you’re unsure, send the manager a photo of the old fastener, and they will help you verify.

How to install hood deflector fasteners

First clean and degrease the edge of the hood, then test-fit the deflector with the fastener without final tightening. The clamps go over the hood edge, the pads sit between the plastic and the paint, and the screws are tightened moderately — without force, so as not to break the ABS. You can install the fasteners yourself, or if needed — at the network of certified DD Tuning service centers; the manager will tell you the nearest one. We ship orders via Nova Poshta.
