BMW 5 Series G30/G31 2017–2023 M5 F90 Body Kit Set (for 2017-2020)

The M5 F90 body kit is designed for BMW 5 Series G30 and G31 pre-facelift models from 2017–2020. It allows you to comprehensively change the car’s appearance while retaining the factory pre-facelift headlights, hood, and front fenders.

This is a body kit in the M5 F90 style, adapted for a standard BMW 5 Series. The kit is not a set of original M5 body parts, does not belong to the M5 Competition, and does not perform a facelift conversion of the vehicle to the 2021 version.

M5 F90 body kit contents

• front bumper in M5 F90 style for 2017–2020 assembled;
• kidney grille;
• rear bumper M-Sport/M5 assembled;
• side skirts;
• required mounting hardware.

The body parts are made of plastic and aluminum, supplied for painting, and installed in the factory mounting points. Headlights, tail lights, hood, front fenders, and exhaust system components are not included in the stated package.

Before ordering, you need to check the model year, body type, and vehicle configuration. For accurate selection, we recommend providing the VIN and photos of the front and rear of the car. The presence of parking sensors, cameras, radars, headlight washer nozzles, tow bar, and the hands-free trunk opening system is checked separately.

How the appearance of BMW G30/G31 changes

The M5 F90 front bumper has enlarged air intakes and more pronounced geometry, making the front end of the BMW look wider and sportier. The kidney grille complements the new bumper shape and creates a cohesive front-end design.

The side skirts visually reduce the body height and connect the front and rear bumpers into a single line. The rear bumper completes the M5 Look and allows you to later select a suitable diffuser and exhaust tip configuration.

Without replacing the hood, fenders, and lighting

The main feature of this kit is the ability to get the M5 F90 style appearance without fully converting the vehicle to a facelift. The factory pre-facelift headlights and tail lights remain on the car. Replacing the hood and front fenders is also not required if the body parts are not damaged and match the factory geometry.

If the goal is not an M5 Look for a pre-facelift body, but updating a 2017–2020 BMW to the 2021 design, you need to choose the full facelift kit to M5 F90 2021. It includes different bumpers, facelift lighting, and additional components.

Preparation and installation of the body kit

Before painting, all elements must обязательно be pre-fitted on the vehicle. During the test fit, the technician checks the mounting points, body gaps, the position of the bumpers and side skirts, as well as the alignment of openings for the equipment of the specific configuration.

After the trial assembly, the bumpers and side skirts are prepared for painting. Parking sensors, cameras, grilles, air ducts, and other factory components are transferred or installed according to the vehicle’s equipment. The diffuser and exhaust tip configuration must be agreed before the final installation of the rear bumper.
