    Both manufacturers are Turkish and make model-specific stainless steel trim pieces. Omsa Line uses Italian stainless steel and has a more precise fit, while Carmos offers a wider range of models.
    No. The shine of polished stainless steel is the metal itself; there is no separate chrome layer that could peel off. Minor scratches on it can be polished out.
    The grilles are universal: the oval one measures 94 × 50 mm, and the rectangular one measures 115 × 50 mm. Check the shape and dimensions of your original repeater, since an oval and a rectangle are not interchangeable.
    Not always: rear doors and windows can differ between body types. Choose a product marked for your body type — SD, HB or SW.
    No. The trim is applied over a good original part and only covers scuffs within its own area.
    The trim on double-sided tape is removed by gently heating it first. New double-sided tape is needed for reinstallation.

    How to Apply a Chrome Trim Strip to the Car Body

    1. Match the model, body, and kit Make sure the trim is made for your model, year, and body type, and count the parts in the kit — each one has its own place.
    2. Test-fit the trim Without removing the protective film from the tape, place the part in position, check the fit, and mark the position with masking tape.
    3. Prepare the surface Wash and dry the installation area, remove polish and traces of old adhesive, and degrease the surface.
    4. Work in warm conditions Install the trim in a dry, warm room: on a cold surface, double-sided tape bonds worse.
    5. Stick and press it down Remove the protective film and align the part according to the markings, starting from one edge, then press it down evenly along the entire length, especially the edges and corners.
    6. Let the tape set Do not wash the car at a car wash immediately after installation — give the tape time to fully bond to the surface.
