Spoilers “for painting” (primed, including fiberglass ones) are painted in the body color after test fitting, and the transport primer is not the final finish. Gloss black and carbon are ready-made options, but the shade of black may differ slightly from the factory one.
    Most spoilers are attached with glass adhesive sealant, which is purchased separately. Lightweight lip spoilers can be mounted with 3M double-sided tape. Window visors with a frame are fastened with self-tapping screws, and some spoilers fit into the factory mounting points with an installation kit — the installation type is specified in the product specifications.

    How it works

    1. Match the spoiler to the car Check the model, model years, and body type (SD, HB, SW, Coupe), and for a van, whether you have a tailgate or swing doors. Check where the third brake light and camera are located, and compare them with the product photos.
    2. Dry fit Place the spoiler in position without adhesive, find the position with even gaps and symmetry, and mark the edges with masking tape. Fit a universal spoiler to any modifications.
    3. Paint before installation Prepare the paintable part and paint it in the body color before installation. Fiberglass should be sanded and primed before painting; transport primer is not a final finish.
    4. Prepare the surface Wash, dry, and degrease the mounting area on the body and the spoiler mounting surface. Work in a warm, dry room so the adhesive or tape sets properly.
    5. Apply the mounting material Apply glass adhesive sealant in a strip along the mounting surface, or stick 3M double-sided tape along the edge width for a light lip spoiler. Mask around the edges with masking tape — this makes it easy to remove excess sealant.
    6. Install and secure Press the spoiler exactly to the markings and secure it with masking tape until the adhesive fully dries according to its instructions. Do not wash the car until the fastening has fully cured, then remove the fixation.
