Frequently asked questions

Window deflectors (rain guards) are installed above the side windows, a hood deflector (bug shield) is mounted on the front edge of the hood, and a visor is placed above the windshield or rear window. This section also includes winter grille covers and spare deflector mounts.
Stick-on ones are attached with double-sided tape to the door frame: they do not touch the glass and do not interfere with the window mechanism, but they require a clean, degreased surface and warmth during installation. In-channel ones are inserted into the glass channel under the weatherstrip; they look integrated, but the window may move more tightly with them. There is no universally better type — choose based on your car and what matters more to you.
For deflectors that attach with clips over the hood edge or with screws from the installation kit, drilling the hood is usually not required. Fiberglass deflectors for painting are attached with glass adhesive sealant. The installation method is specified in the product specifications.
Not automatically. Deflectors are model-specific: a sedan, hatchback, and station wagon have different rear doors, and a facelift may change the shape of the hood. Check the generation, facelift, and body type, and if it is a transition year, send the manager a photo of the car.
Mostly yes: black rain guards are tinted, so from the outside they look dark, while from inside the car you can see through them. The level of transparency depends on the specific product — check the photos and description.
Yes, in the “Deflector Mounts” section there are spare clips for EuroCap hood deflectors in sets of 4, 5, 6, and 7 pieces, as well as a mounting kit for in-channel rain guards. Before ordering, count how many mounting points your deflector has.

How it works

  1. Determine what you need Decide where you are installing the deflector: on the side windows (window visors), on the hood (bug deflector), above the windshield or rear window (visor), or on the radiator grille (winter cover).
  2. Choose the model Select the vehicle in the "Make / Model" filter and check the generation, facelift, and body type against the product name; if in doubt, send the manager a photo of the vehicle.
  3. Test fit before installation Place the deflector in position, check the fit and symmetry. Scratches on the protective transport film are not a product defect: inspect the surface underneath it.
  4. Prepare the surface For adhesive window visors and visors, wash, dry, and degrease the area for bonding; install in warm conditions. Paint the fiberglass paintable visor before installation.
  5. Install according to the mounting type Press the stick-on window visor against the door frame with tape, and insert the insert-type one into the groove under the seal. Center the hood deflector, hook the clips over the hood edge, and tighten the screws evenly.
  6. Check the result Lower and raise the window several times, open and close the hood. The window should move freely, and the gap between the deflector and the hood should be even along the entire length.
