Frequently asked questions

Clip-on ones attach to the frame above the glass and do not touch the seal, so they do not interfere with the window mechanism — this is the most common option. In-channel ones fit into the window channel and look integrated, but they can make it harder to raise the window on cars with automatic window closing.
From +15 °C and above: in the cold, the adhesive tape does not stick well. In winter, install them in a warm room and let the car warm up before fitting.
A set of 4 covers the front and rear doors of a passenger car. A set of 2 is usually for the front doors; vans and minibuses are typically equipped this way. The quantity is indicated in the product name.
No, wind deflectors are model-specific: a sedan, hatchback, and wagon have different rear doors, and some models have separate versions for cars from Europe and the US. Choose a set according to your body type and year of manufacture; if in doubt, send the manager a photo of the doors or the VIN.
Often yes: from the outside, tinted wind deflectors look opaque, but from inside the car you can see through them. There are also fully opaque and semi-transparent models — check the transparency level in the photos and description of the specific product.
They have a shiny decorative strip along the lower edge, while the deflector itself remains tinted. It highlights the chrome on the body; the mounting is the same as on black ones, but chrome versions are usually more expensive.

How it works

  1. Check the kit Make sure the wind deflectors fit your exact body and doors, and lay out the parts according to the instructions: left and right, front and rear may be asymmetrical.
  2. Test-fit the wind deflector Place the wind deflector against the door frame without removing the protective film from the tape, find the position with no gaps, and mark the edges with masking tape. Do not force the part into place — if it does not line up, check whether the sides were swapped.
  3. Prepare the surface Wash and dry the frame, then degrease the bonding area with alcohol or anti-silicone — any wax residue from washing will prevent the tape from sticking.
  4. Peel back the film edges Peel back the ends of the protective film by 2–3 cm on both sides so they can be pulled when the wind deflector is already in place.
  5. Apply the wind deflector Align the wind deflector with the marks and, gradually pulling out the film, press it firmly against the frame along its entire length.
  6. Allow the tape to bond Apply at temperatures from +15 °C, once installed, smooth down the mounting area again, and do not wash the car for the first day.
