    Yes, these are two names for the same part, which is mounted on the outside above the windshield. It is also called a windshield spoiler or visor. Unlike the sun visors inside the cabin, it is attached to the body on the outside.
    For EuroCap frame visors, yes: the metal frame is screwed to the body with self-tapping screws. Fiberglass paint-to-match visors are glued on with glass adhesive sealant without drilling holes. The installation method is specified in the characteristics of each product.

    How it works

    1. Check the kit and test fit Unpack the visor, check the frame, brackets, and fasteners against the list in the specifications, and hold the visor up to the area above the windshield to make sure it fits evenly.
    2. Prepare the visor for painting After test fitting, sand the fiberglass visor, apply primer, and paint it in the body color. Install it only after the paint has fully dried.
    3. Secure the frame of the framed visor Mark the frame mounting points, drill the holes, treat the edges with an anti-corrosion compound, and fasten the frame with the self-tapping screws from the installation kit.
    4. Install the visor on the frame Attach the visor to the frame or brackets, center it on the windshield, and tighten the fasteners evenly.
    5. Bond the adhesive visor For a visor installed with adhesive sealant, wash and degrease the mounting area, apply glass adhesive sealant, press the visor into place, and secure it with masking tape until the adhesive is fully dry.
    6. Check the result Make sure the visor does not wobble, the gaps are even on both sides, and the fasteners are tightened. A visor with LED should be connected to the vehicle electrical system by an auto electrician.
