Volkswagen T5 Transporter 2003-2010 Rear Rubber Floor Mats (2 pcs, Polytep)

Description

Polytep rear mats for Volkswagen T5 Transporter 2003–2010 — two black rubber mats for the passenger area of the cabin. The size per the card is 143 × 42 cm, and they can be trimmed to fit your vehicle’s floor.

Which T5 interior the rear mats fit

The mats are intended for the seat rows behind the driver’s cab in the T5 Transporter 2003–2010. T5 interiors can be different: factory passenger, cargo-passenger, or converted, with different numbers and layouts of seats. Therefore, before ordering, measure the floor of each row — the width between the side panels and the depth from seat to seat — and compare it with the size 143 × 42 cm.

• factory interior with rows of seats — the size is checked for each row separately;
• converted interior or Multivan — seat layout may differ, fitting by measurements is required;
• cutouts for seat mounts, heater, or sills — are made by trimming on site.

Why the mats can be trimmed

The rear rows of the T5 rarely have the same floor geometry, so the mats are made with a size margin. The rubber is easy to trim with a sharp knife along the outline: first place the mat in position, mark the line near the side panels and seat mounts, and cut gradually so you don’t remove too much. The remaining edge should lie on the floor rather than bending up onto the wall.

Material and care

• manufacturer — Polytep;
• material — rubber, color black;
• quantity — 2 mats;
• size — 143 × 42 cm, with the option to trim.

Rubber mats retain water, snow, and dirt on themselves rather than on the factory floor covering. Clean them with water or a washer, then dry and put them back in place. The smell of new rubber usually fades after washing and airing out.

Front mats and other items for T5

To cover the cab as well, you can add Polytep front rubber mats (3 pcs) for the 1+2 cab — 1+2 means the driver’s seat and a double passenger seat. All rubber options for the model are on the page rubber mats for VW T5, and other types are in the car mats category. Accessories for the minibus are collected on the Volkswagen T5 Transporter page.
