    Follow the lowest limit across the whole system: the car roof, roof rails, crossbars, and mounts. Add the weight of the box or basket to the load, and distribute the cargo evenly.
    These are crossbars with a lock in the mounts: they are harder to remove without a key. The lock does not increase load capacity, and crossbars without a key are just as securely fixed mechanically.

    How to Choose and Install Roof Bars

    1. Identify the roof type Check what is on the roof: raised rails, flush rails, factory mounting points under caps or moldings, or a bare roof. This determines which crossbar system to choose.
    2. Choose the car model in the filter Select the make, model, and production years in the “Make / Model” filter — the list will show only crossbars and rails matched to your body type. For vans, choose the base separately.
    3. Check the dimensions and kit For a bare roof and universal profiles, measure the width above the front and rear doors. Check the kit contents and mounting method in the specifications.
    4. Test-fit the supports Place the supports on the mounting points without tightening the bolts: make sure the crossbars sit level, centered, and that the doors and sunroof open freely.
    5. Tighten the fasteners Tighten the supports alternately on both sides, without excessive force, according to the product instructions. Protect the paint and seals where the supports touch the body.
    6. Check after the first kilometers After the first trip, check the tightening again. Distribute the load evenly and do not exceed the system’s minimum load limit.
