Body tuning: What’s included and how much does it cost?

What does body tuning include? First of all, it’s the installation of various add-on components designed to improve a car’s aerodynamics and give its exterior individuality and originality. However, not all tuning parts are actually capable of improving a vehicle’s aerodynamic performance.

Body tuning: main types

  • Surface-level tuning.

These are minor changes to the vehicle’s appearance. As a rule, it involves add-on elements such as door sill trims, door handle covers, headlight trims, fuel cap covers, bumper trims, etc. This also includes body moldings, a spoiler, a rear wing, a bull bar, side steps, wind deflectors, and other chrome packages.

Installing these parts doesn’t require much effort and takes no more than an hour. A big плюс: such accessories look very impressive, last a long time (for example, we provide a 5-year warranty on our parts), and protect the paintwork and metal from damage and corrosion. Bull bars and side steps help when driving off-road or when hitting high curbs. But a rear wing, spoiler, and other aerodynamic body kit, which you can buy in our online store, should be chosen strictly for your specific car make—otherwise they can do more harm than good.

  • Deep body tuning.

May include more complex changes to the shape of fenders and the bumper, installation of air intakes, removal of certain body elements, etc.

This work is very complex, labor-intensive (taking from 3 months up to a year), expensive, and requires an индивидуальный approach, so it’s very difficult to calculate the cost of such an upgrade in advance.

How much does exterior tuning cost?

Let’s consider the example of tuning a Mercedes Sprinter (tuning minibuses and SUVs always costs more, so if you have a sedan, pickup, or another body type, you can safely divide the result by 2.5–3).

So, let’s dress the Mercedes Sprinter in chrome, based on our store prices (the prices below are for steel trims only, while ABS accessories will cost 15–20% less):

  • door handle covers — $48 per set for all doors;
  • handle cup covers (stick under the handles) — $35 (again, per set);
  • mirror chrome covers — $85;
  • fuel cap cover — $18;
  • body moldings — $186;
  • steel grille trim — $52;
  • rear bumper protector/trim — $40;
  • door sill trims — $42;
  • front and rear bull bar — $200 plus $120;
  • side steps set — $240.

Bottom line: $1066 — now you know how much Sprinter tuning with the main chrome parts costs.

Also, if you check the tuning MERCEDES SPRINTER section, you’ll see that besides the listed items, you can buy stylish bumpers, deflectors, alloy wheels, roof rails, mud flaps, and much more.

And some may think the price is too high for body tuning, but:

  • first, we are the only ones in Ukraine and in Europe who can offer such low prices (we sell retail at wholesale prices);
  • second, a striking appearance, increased road safety, and improved aerodynamics can’t be слишком cheap;
  • third, you invest money in high-quality tuning parts made of Italian acid-resistant steel. And on top of that, we provide a warranty on all accessories — 60 months.

So if you’re interested in body tuning with chrome accessories, protective bars, and aerodynamic kits, call us, message us, or simply add the required product to your cart. On our side, we guarantee fast delivery to any CIS country (within Ukraine — free) and gifts for every buyer.
