The new Mercedes B-Class

The previous compact van Mercedes-Benz B-class was quite good, but still boring. That is, it was practical, but outwardly completely "no" - to such an extent that it would ideally look like a taxi.

Given all its previous failures, the automobile concern decided to endow the new five-door modification with all the qualities that the previous B-class lacked so much, namely, to give the car a spectacular appeal. And it worked out great.

The improved compact MPV has slightly grown in length and decreased in height, due to which the outlines have become more dynamic. The front bumper acquired a sporty physique, and the doors - the original stamping. The headlights and grille are also slightly enlarged, adding car solidity. A neat spoiler, slanted rear lights and a streamlined trunk - as if they put an end to the appearance, once again confirming the presentability of the new car. And such a Mercedes does not need tuning at all, at least external.

Salon of the new B-class

Pleasant impressions from the exterior are supported in the cabin. Now no sharp corners and truly German severity!

The front console looks very interesting due to the layers of plastic floating on top of each other. The motorized display of the multimedia system moves out in the center. And in general, everything looks fresh, interesting and original inside. At the same time, in terms of practicality, the salon not only did not lose to its previous version, but, on the contrary, won - only this practicality is now hidden behind a stylish shell. All seats are lowered by 8.6 cm, making the landing in the car more comfortable, and there is more space inside the Mercedes. The volume of the trunk has also changed - from 488 to 666 liters.

• The multimedia system with 3G Internet is controlled via a joystick located between the front seats.
• If you want a metallic version of the B-180, you will have to pay an additional thousand dollars. And alloy wheels? 17-18 inches will cost even more - from 800 to 3,000 dollars.
• The list of options also includes: sports package, climate control, bi-xenon headlights, anti-theft alarm, panoramic roof and rearview camera.
