GAZ Tuning — Page 45

GAZ tuning at DD Tuning means model-specific parts for Gazelle and Sobol from 1998+: WT003 and WT004 bull bars and the ST008 stainless-steel front protection, KB001 side steps and side tubes, roof rails and a roof rack with mesh, a hood deflector for Gazelle Next 2013+, a winter grille cover, dashboard shelves, and chrome trims. The rest of the catalog includes universal products that also fit GAZ: car bulbs, mats, seat covers, sound insulation, and car care chemicals.

What is available specifically for Gazelle and Sobol?

All model-specific products are collected on the Gazelle and Sobol tuning 1998+ page.

What’s the difference between bull bars WT003, WT004 and the ST008 protection?

Bull bar WT003 and bull bar WT004 are front bars with different designs, while ST008 front protection is tubular protection for the front end. For WT003, the specs state: polished Italian-origin stainless steel, metal thickness 1.6 mm, main tube 60 mm, grille tubes 42 mm. The front protection is not a bumper: it is installed together with the factory bumper, not instead of it. There are no bumpers or headlights for Gazelle in the catalog—if you want to change the front-end look, choose a bull bar or ST008.

Which steps to choose: KB001 or side tubes?

These are two different designs. KB001 side steps with a 60 mm tube are a step you can comfortably step on when getting into the cab. Side tubes are two simple tubes without a step; they provide more side protection and change the vehicle’s look. Both options are stainless steel, in chrome or black, and mount to factory points.

How do you install a roof rack on Gazelle or Sobol?

1. Measure the roof length and choose DD roof rails in 265 or 340 cm — the set includes 2 rails and an installation kit; mounting is on glass adhesive-sealant.
2. Install the roof rack with crossbars and mesh 125×200 cm made of aluminum onto the rails — it carries bulky cargo, and the mesh prevents it from shifting.

What to consider for the interior and the grille?

The dashboard shelf is installed over the dashboard; no factory parts need to be removed. The anti-slip coating holds small items in place. In Sobol Business there are three glove compartments on the dashboard, while in the standard Sobol there are two, so before ordering compare your dashboard shape with the shelf photos. The winter cover blocks the radiator grille so the engine warms up faster in winter; it is removed for the warm season.

How not to make a mistake when choosing?

• Gazelle of the old type, Business and Next differ in the front end — bumper, grille, headlights. EuroCap hood deflector fits only Next from 2013.
• For a bull bar or protection, send the manager a photo of the front end and the model year — compatibility will be checked before ordering.
• Model-specific products are only for Gazelle and Sobol. For GAZ-3307, 3309 trucks and GAZ-53 — only universal accessories; Volga has a separate section — Volga tuning.
• The store sells tuning and accessories, not engine or body parts.

You can install the bull bar, steps, and rails at the network of DD Tuning certified service centers — the manager will point you to the nearest one.
