Car Body Parts — Page 81

Body parts at DD Tuning are exterior body components for facelift, tuning, and replacement: complete bumpers, grilles, hoods, fenders, trunk lids, complete mirrors, wheel arch liners, reinforcements and brackets, exterior plastics. The category includes about 1,950 items, with the largest selection for BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Range Rover and Land Rover, Audi, Lexus, and Toyota; most are non-original parts from GBT, GT Tuning, Cixtai, and 1234 Upgrade, plus DDCarbon carbon parts and also OEM parts.

There are also trunk lids, under-hood insulation, washer reservoirs and expansion tanks, trunk struts and soft-open tailgate mechanisms for pickups, seals for body kits, wiper blades, and body extension kits for Mercedes Sprinter and Volkswagen Crafter.

OEM, replica, or carbon — what’s the difference?

Most items in this category are non-OEM replicas made to fit the factory mounting points of a specific model. This lets you install a bumper or grille in a higher-trim style without hunting for an original part. Complete plastic bumpers are made from polypropylene (PP), while Dakar reinforced bumpers for pickups are metal. OEM parts are marked with the manufacturer “Оригінал” — for example, bumpers and grille for Mercedes G-Class W463 2018–2024, a Vito bumper in the 2025 design, and the rear bumper and fenders for Nissan Patrol Y62 and Armada 2019. DDCarbon carbon parts — hoods, trunk lids, and bumpers made from real carbon fiber — are chosen for lower weight and the distinctive weave texture.

Do body parts need painting?

Most bumpers, hoods, and fenders are supplied ready for painting — in primer, since every car’s color is unique. The part is first test-fitted, then prepped and painted to match the body color. Grilles usually come with a finished surface — black, chrome, or silver — and the emblem is transferred from the stock grille. Fenders are sold individually, so you choose left and right sides separately.

How to choose the right body part

• Model, generation, and facelift. The title lists years and version (e.g., Pre-LCI, “for 2016+”): pre-facelift and facelift parts often differ in mounting points.
• Trim level. AMG-Line, M-Sport, F-Sport, or base versions may use different bumpers and grilles.
• Sensors and cameras. Check the photos to see whether the bumper or grille has locations for parking sensors, radar, and a camera: the sensors themselves are not included and are transferred from the stock part.
