Will parts for the T5 2003–2010 fit a T5 after 2010?

The front-end parts, including the winter covers and hood deflector, are different for the pre-facelift 2003–2010 and the facelift 2010–2015. There is a separate page for the T5 2010–2015, and for 2010 vehicles, match the headlights and grille with the product photos.

How can I tell whether my Transporter T5 has a short or long wheelbase?

The wheelbase is specified in the vehicle documents; if you are unsure, take a side photo of the vehicle and send it to the manager. Side sills, roof rails, and moldings for the short and long wheelbase differ in length and are not interchangeable.

Which front mats should I choose for a 2+1 cab?

The 1+1 designation means two separate seats, while 2+1 (or 1+2) means the driver’s seat and a double passenger seat. Their templates are different, so for the T5 there are separate EVA, Carsuit, and textile mat options for each cab configuration.

What is the difference between a spoiler for a tailgate and one for barn doors?

A tailgate is a single lifting rear door, while barn doors are two hinged doors, and the spoilers for them have different shapes. The DPT spoiler for the T5 is available in separate versions for the tailgate and for barn doors; the trim above the license plate is also chosen according to the door type.

Can the upper and lower winter covers be installed together?

Yes. The upper one covers the radiator grille, and the lower one covers the opening in the bumper; they are sold separately and installed together. They attach with hooks over the factory grille.

Can a T5 2003–2010 be converted to the look of a T6.1?

Yes, for the T5 Transporter 2003–2010 there are facelift kits to T6.1 in Sportline and OEM versions from GBT. They can be installed in the network of certified DD Tuning service centers.
