Mercedes-Benz Tuning — Page 215

Mercedes-Benz tuning at DD Tuning includes body kits and facelift kits in AMG and Maybach style, chrome and carbon trim, grilles, aftermarket lighting, bull bars and side steps, mats and interior accessories. Parts are selected separately for each generation by body code — from classic W123, W124 and W126 to C-Class W206, E-Class W214, S-Class W223 and G-Class W465, as well as for Sprinter, Vito, Citan, X-Class and the Actros and Atego trucks.

How to choose parts for your Mercedes?

1. Select your model from the list: A-, B-, C-, E-, S-Class, CLA, CLS, GLA, GLC, GLE, GLS, G-Class, Vito, Viano, Sprinter, Citan, X-Class, as well as the Actros and Atego trucks.
2. Identify the generation by body code. W212 and W213 are different E-Class generations; W906 and W907 are different Sprinters, and parts between them are usually not interchangeable. In most passenger Mercedes, VIN characters 4–6 match the body code (for example, 213 for W213). E 220, GLE 450 or GLC 300 is the engine version, not the body. Coupe is a separate body: C205, C238 or GLC Coupe C253 have different rear bumpers, diffusers and spoilers than the sedan or crossover.
3. Open the category and check the details in the product name: years before or after facelift, body type (sedan, coupe), bumper version — Base, AMG Line or AMG, for example “for CLS63 AMG”, — or the van wheelbase.

Which Mercedes models are tuning ordered for most often?

• G-Class W463 2018–2024 — front protection, carbon grille surround; for the new W465 — BRB 800 body kit in plastic or carbon.
• S-Class W222 and E-Class W213 — carbon mirror caps, LED air vent deflectors, illuminated interior trim with Burmester lighting.
• Sprinter W906 and Vito / V-Class W447 — stainless steel bull bars, aluminum side steps, roof rails, rubber mats.

What Mercedes-Benz tuning products are available in the catalog?

• Body kits — lip spoilers, rear diffusers, spoilers, fender trim and complete bumper sets in AMG style (C63, S63, ML63, GLS63) and Maybach.
• Facelift kits — the look of a newer model for an older one: W221 in W223 style, Sprinter W906 in W907 style, W205 in W206 AMG style, GLC X253 in GLC63 style.
• Chrome trim — for mirrors (sticks over the OEM caps), handles, sills, rear bumper and trunk lid. Carbon trim and grilles in AMG, GT Panamericana and Diamond styles are listed separately.
• Bull bars and side steps — front protection, side steps and rear bars, including for G-Class, X-Class, Vito, Viano and Sprinter.
• Mats — EVA, rubber and textile, for the cabin and trunk.
• Mud flaps — model-specific sets for OEM mounting points, separately for Base and AMG / AMG Line versions and for vehicles with and without side steps.

Also available: wind deflectors, roof racks and roof rails, forged wheels R16–R24, aftermarket lighting, badges. For the interior — steering wheels, gear shifter handles, armrests, dashboard trim and interior ambient lighting upgrades from 3 to 64 colors (C-Class W205, GLC X253). Manufacturers include GBT, Erkul, DDCarbon, Omsa Line, Carmos, Polytep, EuroCap.

What to check before ordering

• For body kits and facelift kits, check the kit contents in the product card or with the manager, and whether the parts are supplied painted. Parts for painting should be test-fitted on the car first, and it’s more reliable to install a spoiler with sealant adhesive rather than only double-sided tape. You can have the kit installed at DD Tuning’s network of certified service centers — the manager will point you to the nearest one.
• Bumper trim and mud flaps for the AMG Line package and for the standard bumper are different — check the version in the product name. Standard mud flaps are not installed on vehicles with step sills or fender flares: there are separate options for those.
• Model years at generation changeovers require photos: a 2006 Sprinter may still be W901–905 or already W906; in 2013 the W906 received a facelift with a new front end, and 2018 is the transition to W907; Vito 2014–2015 can be either W639 or W447. On a converted vehicle, select parts by the bumper actually installed, not by the year in the documents; if unsure, send the manager the VIN and photos of the vehicle.
• Grilles are often sold without the star: the OEM one is transferred, and the front emblem and its housing may be separate items. If the star contains a Distronic radar, confirm grille/emblem compatibility with it separately.
• Roof rails for Vito and Sprinter are chosen by wheelbase — short, medium (Long) or long (Extra Long); the trunk mat also depends on it.
• The cost of tuning depends on the scope of modifications and the material: individual trim pieces cost much less than a full bumper set or a facelift kit, and carbon is more expensive than plastic.
