Can a 2008–2011 LX570 be converted to look like a newer model?

Yes. There are kits for 2008–2012 → 2012–2016 (Standart and F-Sport), a mini restyling in TRD Sport with a front bumper and Full LED headlights, and full TRD Superior and TRD Sport kits. Headlights and grilles from 2012 on pre-facelift models are installed only together with a new bumper.

Do the rear fenders need to be replaced during a TRD restyling?

Not necessarily. In the GBT TRD Superior 2016–2020 and TRD Sport 2021+ kits, the rear lights are adapted for the old fenders, and an adapter is used for the tailgate. The 1234 Upgrade kit “TRD 2021 with rear fender replacement” is a full rear-end conversion: new fenders with quarter windows, tailgate, and rear window.

Will AFS work in the new headlights?
