    The H4 has two filaments and provides both low and high beam in one bulb; it has three contacts. The H7 is single-filament: it works in only one mode and is used in headlights with separate bulbs for low and high beam. The bases are different, so they cannot be replaced with one another.
    Yes, if the headlight has an H4 base and there is enough space under the cover for the LED bulb’s heatsink or fan. On cars with bulb monitoring, a CANbus adapter may be needed. Check the rules for installing LEDs in halogen headlights in your country.
    The Niken H4 LED bulbs are sold as a set of two bulbs with built-in drivers. The Osram and Philips halogen bulbs in this section are sold individually.
    For a 24 V system, there are Osram 64196 and Philips 13342 halogen bulbs rated at 75/70 W, as well as Niken Pro-series LED bulbs in the 24V version. 12 V bulbs cannot be used in a 24 V system.
    Preferably yes. A new bulb shines brighter and with a different shade than an old one, so the left and right headlights will be noticeably different. That is why even halogen bulbs are best replaced at the same time in both headlights.
