Film for akvapechati: Learning to choose
Film for hydrographic printing today is offered in a variety of colors and with imitations of wood, aluminum, animal skin, carbon, marble, camouflage ... This is not a complete list, since only in our online store there are more than 1000 types of films and equipment for hydrographics . In other words, wishing to change the look of your car, everything is limited solely by your imagination.
Before you start applying the film, the selected part of the car is primed, that is, a base thin layer of a certain color is applied to it, which sets the future "tone" of the product. At the same time, if you want to get a panel with a "carbon look" color, then it will not be difficult to choose a base layer, since carbon has a gray-white-black color and, in principle, it doesn't care what primer you apply under the bottom. The same goes for decorating under "dark wood".
But, for example, with imitations of snake skin, marble, aluminum, things are a little more complicated, since you have to carefully select the base.
If you want to know in advance how this or that hydrographic film will look in the interior of your car or on body parts, then you can resort to rather primitive methods. To do this, take different sheets of colored paper, and alternately put them under the film - you will immediately see how the base (in our case, colored paper) forms the final look of the products.
And finally, let's summarize. The hydrographic film itself is absolutely transparent (it differs only in textures). And the final shade of the treated surface forms the base layer (paint or primer). In other words, using the same type of film, but at the same time, changing the shade of the base, you can get countless options for decorating products .
And now, to make it even more clear to you what we wrote above, look at the figure, how the "base" affects the final color of the hydrographic.
