How it works

  1. Select the spoiler For the Lancer 9 sedan, the model-specific Meliset primer-ready spoiler is suitable. For the universal version, measure the width of the trunk lid and compare it with the length and the distance between the mounting points in the product card.
  2. Dry-fit it Place the spoiler on the trunk lid without glue, check the symmetry and fit along the entire length. Mark the position with masking tape.
  3. Prepare and paint it After test-fitting, the primer-ready spoiler should be sanded, primed, and painted to match the body color. Glossy DPT and type-B do not need painting.
  4. Prepare the surface Wash and dry the trunk lid in the contact area, then degrease it — how well the adhesive holds depends on this.
  5. Secure the spoiler Apply glass adhesive sealant to the mounting pads (for type-B — remove the self-adhesive film), press the spoiler in place according to the markings, and secure it with masking tape.
  6. Connect the brake light If the spoiler has a brake light, route the wire and connect it to the factory wiring — it is better to leave this job to an auto electrician.
  7. Let the adhesive set Leave the car for the time specified in the sealant instructions, and only then remove the masking tape and wash the car.
