BMW will complement the seventh series of hybrid models

Previously it was reported that the German automobile brand BMW is preparing an update to its "seven". However, few could have imagined that the lineup of 7-Series will have a lot more cars with a hybrid power plant.

The main reason for such implementation is not so much with modern technology, but with the request of the Chinese government. The fact that according to Chinese law, starting from 2019, every exporter of imported cars should sell in the Chinese market of at least 7% of cars with ecological powertrains.

We are talking about models with all electric motors or with hybrid. The Chinese market for the seventh series of BMW is one of the most significant, so sales alone 740e will be enough. So soon we can expect a number of advanced "green" models.

As for the update of the BMW 7-Series, here we can expect a high quality and modernized performance hybrid. Also, the engineers thoroughly reworked system of active and passive safety.

The exterior of the new sedan will not change. Updated front and rear bumpers, and taillights get a new design. Presentation of the new BMW 7-Series is expected at the end of this year, but there are conflicting opinion – the novelty will be shown only next spring.
