Volkswagen will release a new compact MPV

German car brand Volkswagen announced the decision to release a new model of a compact MPV in 2021. The machine will be replaced by vans such as the Touran and Golf Sportsvan, which have been updated accordingly in 2015 and 2017.

According to published information of German journalists, Volkswagen has decided to make changes in the lineup of the vans. So, the planned reduction of production models such as the Caddy Maxi, Caddy, Sharan, Touran, Golf Sportsvan and Transporter T6 in the passenger version. To change these cars need a compact MPV Volkswagen Variosport, which will get three rows of seats. Also the novelty will be able to please a more comfortable version with a few seats and luxury details.

The basic design for the Volkswagen Variosport will be the platform on which the model Golf of the last generation. It should be noted that most of the concern vans usually have sliding doors, and a new model will have at its charge the normal four doors. The profile of the car will be manufactured in kupeobrazny style and length will be about 4 700 mm.
