Flew super iCAR ?!

The largest automaker on the planet, Toyota , surprised the guests of Bloomberg’s Next Big Thing Summit in California with the level of its ambition (and rightly so). According to the head of the engineering group, Hiroyoshi Yoshiki, technologies that will be developed soon will allow the car to race over the road without touching it.

The idea of soaring cars is being successfully studied by the best researchers of the company with the preparation of a scientific and technical base for the implementation of this project. Although the speaker immediately made a reservation that the use of this technology does not yet allow the car to fly fully. But it may well be possible to slightly raise the car above the road, as it was possible at one time to "raise" the vehicles using the so-called air cushion.

Naturally, Yoshiki did not disclose details regarding the development timeline and current results. So the flying car is likely to be as much of a surprise as the self-driving car that Google unveiled recently. Transport is able to navigate the terrain using software, and is also equipped with a mass of all kinds of radars, cameras and sensors.

And, if the release of such robotic vehicles is expected approximately by 2020, then we can assume that cars hovering above the road will appear in the very foreseeable future. Well, by this time we will have time to deliver the tuning on the super iCar.
