The predecessor of this car can be considered the Sesame concept, presented in 2002. Production of the Peugeot 1007—tuning accessories for which are offered by the DD Tuning store—started in 2005. From 2005 to 2007 the model was officially supplied to Ukraine, but low demand led to the export being discontinued. Today, the Peugeot 1007 is sold in the Baltic states (Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia), as well as in Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan.

Peugeot 1007 — an ultra-compact minivan

The Peugeot 1007 is built on the platform of the 206 series, the Peugeot 207, and its close relative, the Citroen C2. The styling was penned by the renowned Pininfarina studio. To maximize space in a fairly short body (3730 mm), the French increased the height to 1610 mm. The core idea and key highlight of the Peugeot 1007 is its electrified sliding doors. When fully open, they create an opening almost one meter wide, making entry, loading, and parking much easier. The doors can be opened the traditional manual way or by pressing a button on the key fob.

The Peugeot 1007 comes with 1.4 and 1.6 L gasoline engines (73–109 hp), as well as a 1.4 L diesel unit rated at 68 hp. A 5-speed manual or a robotic gearbox is available. There are three trim levels for the Peugeot 1007: “Urban”, “Trendy”, and “Sporty”.

On board are 7 airbags (4 standard + 3 optional), ISOFIX child-seat mounts, and a wide range of electronic aids: ABS, ESP, REF, AFU, ASR. The Peugeot 1007 trunk holds 178 L, and with the rear seats folded, capacity increases to 1050 L.
