Mercedes CLA C117 Tuning Parts — Page 23

Here you will find accessories and tuning parts for the first-generation Mercedes CLA C117 (W117) 2013–2019: the AMG body kit in CLA45 style and its bumpers separately, carbon lips, diffusers and spoilers, radiator grilles in Diamond Silver, GT Panamericana and AMG Silver, LED headlights, tail lights, emblems, mirror caps and side skirt covers, plus model-specific floor mats. Some parts differ between the pre-facelift 2013–2016 and the facelift 2017–2019, and carbon bumper add-ons also depend on the trim: Base, AMG-Line or CLA45 AMG. The SD mark in a product name means the C117 sedan.

Which bumper do you have: Base, AMG-Line or CLA45 AMG?

Before choosing carbon add-ons, identify not only the year but also the bumper version. All parts are made from genuine DDCarbon carbon fiber and are designed for a specific bumper. Front bumper add-ons for Base 2013–2016 do not fit Sport and AMG; the lip for AMG-Line 2017–2019 does not fit the base version or CLA45 AMG; some add-ons are made only for CLA45 AMG. Carbon rear diffusers and rear bumper add-ons V1–V3 are designed for AMG-Line and CLA45 AMG and will not fit the base bumper. Carbon front fender trims fit the sedan in all versions, from CLA180 to CLA45 AMG. If you are unsure, send the manager photos of the front and rear bumpers.

What is included in the AMG body kit for the CLA C117?

The GBT kit turns a standard CLA into the look of a CLA45 AMG: assembled front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, and a Black rear diffuser with exhaust tips. The parts mount to factory locations; bumpers and side skirts are supplied ready for painting in body color, while the diffuser is black. Headlights, tail lights, and the grille are not included and are selected separately. You can also buy the front and rear bumpers and side skirts individually in the body kits section. Installation is available at the network of certified DD Tuning service centers—your manager will suggest the nearest one.

Which grille and emblem should you choose?

Cixtai ABS plastic grilles install in factory mounting points and come in three styles: Diamond Silver with a dotted pattern, GT Panamericana with vertical bars, and AMG Silver. Each style has a separate version for 2013–2016 and for 2017–2019, so make sure to confirm the year and bumper before ordering. In the badges section you will find a front star with a diameter of about 18.5 cm, a black mounting bracket housing for it, and a badge under glass with chrome or black surround (part number a2058806406). You can also enhance the front end with a self-adhesive stainless steel Carmos trim for the bumper grille.

Spoiler, rear window trim, or carbon for the trunk lid?

The spoiler fits only the sedan trunk lid. Options differ by material: Meliset fiberglass needs prep and paint; DPT ABS plastic comes in gloss black; and DDCarbon carbon spoilers are available in several shapes—compare the profile in photos. The rear window trim is black ABS plastic. These parts are bonded with glass adhesive/sealant, which is usually purchased separately. For the mirrors there are black DPT AMG-Look mirror caps and chrome Carmos stainless steel covers—both are self-adhesive. For the exhaust, there are muffler tips in AMG style.

Which mats and accessories fit the C117 sedan?

EVA mats for the interior and for the trunk by Digital Designs are made for the C117 sedan in six colors: black, beige, blue, brown, gray, and orange. There are also textile mats in Premium, Classic, and Deluxe, Carsuit rubber mats in several colors, and a Stingray Premium set of four mats; for the trunk—textile and Carsuit rubber options. For the door sills, there are Flexill trims by OmsaLine (aluminum with plastic; front 45×5 cm, rear 23×5 cm) and stainless steel options; and for the CLA45 version—model-specific Premium mud flaps, a set of four.
